NO LONGER AVAILABLE You will need to try to rebuild yours or use the 64 style pump and then mount a separate fuel filter in the system. The 63 Fairlady had a number of parts that made it unique from later cars. Here is one of them that harkens back to the old 6-volt days when starter motors couldn't spin an engine very fast. A hand primer on the pump. Kind of a neat idea. Not as easy as today's cars that instantly pressurize the system when the ignition is turned on, but if your car has sat a long time, what better way to help it start then hand priming the system? |
