A properly operating vacuum advance will do its part to increase your mileage and keep combustion chamber deposits down. The vacuum advance, which is always connected to the air cleaner side of the throttle plate, only works at part throttle, and doesn't effect the centrifugal advance system which operates only by rpm. |
