Although this piece was not available separately before the 1968 models, it is very close to the earlier pieces if not identical. If your seat belt mount has the typical damage and you are doing a major sheet metal restoration, this is a nice piece to switch. People have used these on older cars but I don't know if they had to do any modifications to the part to make it work. The outer rockers and floors are the same so I'm guessing this is too. From Nissan.
All of these pieces have a crease of varying degree in them as highlighted in the picture above. Although these can be mildly rolled for storage; their is a limit to doing it; and I think Nissan exceeded it or in some other circumstance bent them. Not suprising given the way so much of the sheet metal was stored.
