SIDE MARKER LIGHT HOLES
Cars destined for the USA and Canada did not have side marker lights before the 1969. The 1969 models had a teardrop light using an oval shaped hole on the front fenders, the 70's had a rectangular light. (Pics). It's of course much easier to make a hole if necessary then weld one up. Your body shop can advise you of the costs of either.
PARK LIGHT HOLES
Park light holes on 1963-1969 cars are the same. In 1970 a brighter larger lamp was required, necessitating a different hole. (Pics) The 63-69 hole can be enlarged to use on a 70, and the hole on the 70 can be modified to be used on an earlier car if necessary.
