DATSUN 1500 1600 2000 FRONT SUSPENSION SPRING SEAT

As named; the spring seat is what the front coil spring rests on. Purpose of this page is to help identify the left from the right. You will notice the two bolt holes noted by the arrows. These are not symmetrical to each other in that one is higher than the other when the part is laid out as in the picture. That corner of the triangle is also more rounded than the others.
Sometimes the three attached nuts are detached from the plate as shown in the picture. When we sell a replacement part; it will have the three nuts. Any spring seat that has broken bolts or damaged nuts are usually given away or scrapped.
