thickness at front of head is 4.482" Average
thickness of rear of head is 4.484" Has
mismatched front tower cap. The one on the head was a far
worse match than the one we just put on. Still; it is not
correct and usually the solution is for to have a machine
shop use the bottom of the tower and the 4 other towers
as a guide; remove a little bit from the bottom of the
cap and rebore the front tower assembly, together with
the others {called with line boring or "align boring"
depending on your political preference and religious
persuasion}:-) DATSUN
