USA 48 STATES DELIVERY TRANSIT TIMES

This a rough map from UPS showing approximate delivery times once they have the box. Our local one day delivery area is shown in yellow. These times do not count the day the item is picked up or any weekend or UPS holidays. It does not count the time it takes the order to be processed and packed here; typically 1-10 Working Days (Monday-Friday) depending on parts problems and order load.


Currently we only ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) for boxes up to about 9 cubic feet (15,500 cubic inches). These boxes we only ship on our own UPS account. Bigger boxes go by Motor Freight Carriers (YRC usually).

We do not currently use AIR shipping or Saturday delivery. Too tired of apologizing for and taking the blame for things we have no control of...


HOW LONG UNTIL WE SHIP YOUR UPS BOX?
(4 cubic feet or smaller to the 48 States)

Usually 1-14 days counting weekends. Used parts can EASILY add 2 weeks to an order; the item may be a long distance away and/or may have to be removed from a car. I will say that once we get an order; we want the parts out of here as much as you do!

Most depart at about 7 days counting weekends. Boxes large than 4 cubic feet are most of the 7-14 day departures.

If it is an order where you are sending in a US Postal Money Order those typically take an additional 3-4 working days to verifiably clear; which is the fastest of any form of paper. A bank wire transfer can take up to a week for us to be notified. A Western Union transfer when available can add about 4 working days as we don't go up to town every day.

Problems with verifying your card or your bank releasing verification information can delay an order...sometimes A LOT; ESPECIALLY if you do not provide the card provider's 800 number that is usually listed on the back of the card. Your issuing institution may not care if we EVER are able to verify the card; or have an unyielding, unbypassable phone tree that never does lead anywhere. We will not spend much time fighting this situation if there are other orders to do; we'll just try again later when we are more relaxed and ready to bang our heads against a wall.

Delays will increase if you haven't sent an email to us with your address as well. This can cause the order to stall. There are all kinds of reasons we may need to contact you while processing an order and email is how we will do it.

If the order has to be yanked out of sequence to make a change that can easily back it up 2 days.

If you want an ACCURATE answer on parts availability and if departure will be past our normal 7 day window you will need to email. No way to tell how many orders are ahead of you or accurate stock levels against the in-process orders unless we check at night.

Make sure your email provider and your email program is letting you view our emails and not dumping them in spam-junk etc folders or blocking them. We may email anytime between 8am and midnight Pacific Time. See Ordering Info on speeding up your order. We don't want the orders sitting here either!
