Always
list the prices when ordering.
Prices
are subject to change at any time, without notice.
Although rare; the website can be wrong. Keeping it
exact to the minute is my goal but other tasks come
first; and since I have seen websites that have prices
FIVE TO TEN YEARS out of date I don't feel too bad
being off a week.
Things
change; both in price and availability or how the part
is sold (part of a kit; not part of a kit). If
something no longer meets the economics of your
project; just cancel the order when we advise you of
the change(s). No problem.
If
something doesn't match we will notify you as we
process the order.
The
fact that we send out a "received your order" or some
such comment DOES NOT MEAN the prices are correct or
that we even accept the order. Anything specific about
prices if needed will come later; as with any other
notifications of problems with the order.
We
also reserve the right to correct any typo or
something worded wrong on this website about ANYTHING.
The website is not the tablet Moses brought down. It
is simply an aid; which we try to keep accurate. We
can correct it or supercede it with our voice or an
email at ANY TIME.
Nothing
on this website should be construed as a legal "offer
to sell". The website is strictly for our own
amusement.
I
hate to have to write junk like the above; but it is
far cheaper for me to spend time jerking my fingers
around the keyboard then have my attorney get involved
with all the nonsense that can come up. He'd rather be
out racing his motorcycle. I'd rather be outside
throwing my shoulder out trying to convince our dog I
could have played professional baseball...
"Kit"
part numbers are necessary for "kit" prices. Using the
part number listed will guarantee you receive what you
think you are ordering. Each kit has a description of
its contents.
You're
welcome to order the slow way with us checking part
numbers and prices but whoever's got the phone may not
be able to do that on the spot and would still most
likely have to email you back.
If
checking prices I would suggest hitting "reload" or
"refresh" or whatever tool your web browser has to
make sure it is not looking at a stored copy of the
website. Along this line we do not recommend printing
out any pages as the website is changed often. Parts
are priced and invoiced at time order is processed,
after we have all necessary information from you. This
is not usually a problem but a price increase can
occur at any time. We will email before shipping if
this happens. We are loathe to change a price in the
middle of a parts inquiry; but it CAN
happen.
We
have been reducing prices wherever possible to make it
easier for people to buy stuff and in some cases that
has hurried things out of here at a faster rate than
we wanted. We will continue to do this. Sometimes it
is noted by a red "Special
Price"
note or "3
for $___".
Usually these come and go as we get closer to having
what I feel is a correct amount of parts on hand.
Other reduced prices may be just a normal "in black"
price we will move down (and hopefully not back up) to
get the out-the-door flow what we want.
All
of the Red
Price Deals
are "You Tell Us"; they aren't in the pricelist
I use everyday and I don't go look it up on the
website when I fill an order. If you don't mention it
with the order the item(s) will be at whatever the
listed "usual" price is and it is a done deal. No
"rainchecks" or alterations after that point; it is
your choice to mention it or not. And as mentioned
above; those can be there one day and not the next;
there is no time duration. I've done these price chops
with some parts and had a huge chunk of stuff
disappear within a day or two; other items' stock
levels drop slowly over months! I could roll dice and
get as good an answer to what will happen when a price
drops as any sales history I have in my head or in the
computer.
In
order to keep everybody's projects going as the prices
rise; we have been seeing what we can do to reduce
them and will continually do so. We are trying to get
away from having the above described
RED
price
deals; that come and go and striving for just
whittling the prices down whenever we can. We have
amassed a pile of stuff that most people would not
believe; and are excited that we are able to get out
of some of the buildings we are in or get back work
areas that has been blocked for years by shelf units.
I'd really like it to get back to the early 70s before
we started this long hard race to beat Nissan
warehouse workers to the trash dump with all the
roadster parts!
Having
the prices lower is moving stuff quicker. The "bad" of
that is it means many items will disappear sooner; the
"good" is that my "other project time" will arrive
sooner!
Some
price changes are out of our control; like a Nissan
gasket going from $2 to $45 in one month and STAYING
at $45! So
even though many things won't say "Sale" we will be
doing our best to continually find a way to lower the
price wherever possible.
If
there is a problem with what you have given we will
email you back before shipment. We answer the phone
from multiple locations and will not usually be able
to verify a price on the phone. Things can sometimes
change very rapidly and very often. Many of the items
we try to stock are not available through "normal"
consistent sources. Even Nissan itself is no longer
considered "normal and consistent".
Prices
are for ONE part unless otherwise described, (pair,
set of 4 etc).
CASH
PRICE - - - - CREDIT PRICE?
For
years Visa/MC charges were tolerable; they have
created cash back cards, "reward" cards and other
nonsense making taking a charge card an expensive
proposition. We don't mind eating it as a part of most
business transactions; but on some large items you may
see both a CASH and CREDIT price. If we don't have to
pay visa/mc/discover then you keep the difference. To
qualify for this you would need to send a United
States Postal Money Order. Why a USPS money order? I
don't know why but they have been working out as the
FASTEST clearing financial instrument around; in
addition to a money order drawn a "KEY BANK" which is
our own bank. Some money orders and cashier's checks
now can take WEEKS to REALLY clear.
