1963-1969 plus 70s with non-Evap fuel filler

DOES NOT LOCK

Original style cap on 67.5-69s and 70s with the 172-07 filler tube* (non evaporative system). Also fits 63-67. Overall chrome is shiny; but has pitting with some scuffed or possibly chipped areas as shown above. Underside corroded but operational. DOES NOT COME WITH A KEY and DOES NOT COME WITH A LOCKING LEVER ON THE BACKSIDE. You will need to find or cut a new sealing flat gasket, this one is toast. At one time I had a batch of these gaskets; they were for metal gas cans and a PERFECT fit after the little vent notch was cut in them! Sometimes we a have repro gaskets; and when we do; we shove a new gasket on any used cap we sell. Please ask when ordering.
