USED GAUGE INFO

NOTE: All used TACHOMETERS and SPEEDOMETERS are all "spin-checked" to be sure they work. (odo and needle) Used gauges are that, just used working gauges. Any gross defects from being a typical used gauge (like being overly noisy or bouncy) are noted and/or pictured in the individual item listings below

(DU items show the EXACT part you will get; pictures in the general listings would just be for identification of what the item is) .

Chrome Trim on 63-67 gauges, for instance. For the 63-67 guages; price and condition would be for an "average" chrome ring. It won't be horrible looking but may not be fantastic either; those guages (worse and better) are usually set aside and listed above. Fortunately the chrome on the 68-70's is very durable. The 68 and 69-70 large gauges can be used in place of each other; (the 68 has an extra chrome ring in the middle of the guage.)

The 65 1500 Tachometers and 65-67 1600 can be used interchangeably but the 1500 gauge has a lower "redline".

"NOISY" in description indicates gauge needs to be lubricated and/or repaired to prevent it from becoming nonfunctional. Some gauge shops can do this; some can't.

NOTE: CLOCKS described as "tested" indicate they have been plugged in to a battery and watched. An "operable" clock is one that advances over time. (you can also hear it running) These clocks are notoriously inaccurate. Some may have "fast-slow" adjuster you can play with; but my memory of trying this decades ago was very frustrating. It may take someone who is familar with 12V clocks. As I remember when I had a working clock in my own car; they ran slow when the engine was off and fast when you were driving.
